[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]5 days of escape in Puerto Escondido for the launch of the very first Moea’s bikinis and we came back with a lot of adventures in mind, more passionate and even more ambitious for future! What to say about Puerto Escondido? My advice Its better if you arrive directly at the airport you ll save time, but if you really want to discover the « true » mexican life, crusing the west coast by car from Acapulco, 5 hours driving to Puerto Escondido, through little « pueblitos », far away of tourism invasion.

After 5 hours of mountains landscape, how happy were we to see the ocean again, with his big and strong waves (it’s not a legend, Puerto Escondido has one of the biggest wave of the world, barreling and perfect, the kind of wave you wont try unless if you are a pro, or totally crazy;) better stay on the beach enjoying and taking pictures😉  hopefully there is an intermediate surf spot with little pipes at the end of the beach called La punta, and for begginers, you can go to the Carrizalillo beach, a peacefull place, however the surf school invasion can be hard sometimes in the sea :s

Where can we eat?? El cafecito (for breakfast, lunch and dinner jajaja) the best restaurant located on Zicatela beach, but not the only good one 😉 try the Enchiladas and the delicious breakfast specialy created for starving surfers!

The quite ambiance of hippie/surfer style in Zicatela will charm you and make you feel like home. There is a lot of hostels and surf camps on the main beach, our favorite is the One Love, with a kindly international ambiance, located 100 meters above the beach, offering surf lessons and some wonderful tours to discover the city.

Time to party, start with some beers and pool at the calaveras y diablitos bar before going to the Kabbalah, this wonderful restaurant during the day become the most famous dancing place of the beach after 11pm, free entrance and open bar for girls before midnight😉 you can enjoy good musique, mix of comercial, reggae, reggaeton, hiphop… to suit all tastes!

Enjoy it!
